So what happens on a typical day event?
Getting there...
You will receive directions, maps and useful information along with you website booking or will be sent them separately a week prior to the day event.
What’s included…
Where a day event price includes meals or entrance tickets this will be clearly stated on our website and in our brochure. Also, we often offer a choice of afternoon activities which include those that are free and also those that require an entrance fee. Our guests appreciate having the freedom to choose how much they wish to spend on drinks ,food etc. during the day.
When does it start...
We normally meet together just before lunch where you will be introduced to other guests by your hosts. You can purchase a drink or food, then relax and enjoy one another's company.
What sort of things do you all do...
Well, that depends on the day event. Some will have a specific focus such as a Buckingham Palace visit, others may involve an afternoon ramble and others may give you a choice of activities in a particular location that you can decide on over lunch.
We then all meet together early evening for dinner. Again you are usually free to choose what you wish. Do remember to pay for all your drinks, food and relevant service charge (10—12.5%) before you leave. Often there will be a bill per table and each table will take responsibility to collecting monies and paying the restaurant.
When do we head home... People are usually thinking of leaving to catch trains etc. around 8 p.m.
Cancellations...Please remember that payments for Day Events are not refundable or transferable to another person or event.
