Today’s Chester still has essentially the Roman street plan with an eclectic mix of buildings from the middle ages to the modern times.
Taking in the sights… You will enjoy dinner and a welcoming evening in our hotel to start your weekend. On Saturday we will take a guided walk along the ancient walls and streets of Chester to see its many interesting sights. Having taken a break at the Cathedral you’re then free to join us on a stroll to the riverside or explore with others the famous Chester Rows, amphitheatre, Cathedral, Grosvenor Museum or the Dewa Roman Experience. There are also loads of interesting and unusual shops too. All return to our hotel for dinner. On Sunday join us for a stroll or head to a local church service. Then return for our Sunday lunch before heading home.
